Milledgeville Residents Excited About New Place to Shop

Milledgeville residents now have a new place to shop.  The brand new 93,000 square foot Kroger officially opened Wednesday complete with a floral section, state of the art produce, specialty items, a fuel center, soup and salad bar, and even a Starbucks.

Shoppers are excited about all the options at their finger tips.

“The main thing that I’m looking for is fresh produce and fresh to go items such as cheeses, meats, deli,” said Catherine Marts, shopper.

“I’m looking for bargains on different items such as meats, vegetables, vitamins,” explained Felicia Murchiason, Shopper.

The new store is located on North Columbia Street in Milledgeville.

The Kroger brought 150 jobs to Baldwin County.
