MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Greater Turner Tabernacle AME Church is hosting the Thanksgiving Feeding for the community.

The Thanksgiving Feeding will be November 28 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 1104 Third Street in Macon.

Pastor Greater Turner Tabernacle AME Church, Pastor David Luke, says he is thankful for the communities help to make this event happen.

Christian Education Director, Demetrice Freeman, says there will be food, toiletries, and blankets given away to those in need.

“We just need any volunteers to show up at 9 a.m.,” says Freeman. “Just be ready to serve with a smile. We have needs for delivery persons, people to bag the food, and just to make sure that we gather the care packages and give them out.”
