Mercer Wins Southern Conference Awards

The Mercer Bears (10-2, 7-1) took home plenty of SOCON Awards Tuesday

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – The Mercer Bears football program have just won the Southern Conference Championship and now are taking home plenty of individual awards to go with it.

Here is the list:

Senior RB DeWayne McGee – Offensive Player of the Year

Sophomore DE Brayden Manley – Defensive Player of the Year

Freshman DL Andrew Zock – Freshman of the Year

Mike Jacobs – Coach of the Year

Here are the All Conference Teams:

All-SOCON First Team: Offense – DeWayne McGee, Israel Mukwiza / Defense – Brayden Manley, Isaac Dowling, TJ Moore, Myles Redding
