The winner of this game plays the winner of Southeast Bulloch and Stephenson next week in the semi finals. If Peach County beats Calhoun, it would host that game next week.
FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Peach County Trojans welcomed the Calhoun Yellow Jackets for a GHSA quarterfinal matchup on Friday night in our Game of the Week on The End Zone.
The Trojans are Region 1-AAA champions, and had won 10 in a row coming into the game. Peach County has averaged 45 PPG this season, while allowing only 17.9 PPG.
It kept opponents under 10 points five times.
The Yellow Jackets are Region 7-AAA champs and also came into the game hot, by winning its last eight games. Calhoun is #8 in Triple-A, scoring 29.5 PPG and allowing just 15.1 PPG. The Yellow Jackets have two shutouts and have kept opponents under 10 points, five times this season
