Macon Touchdown Club Week 15 Players of the Week

The Macon TD Club Players of the Week for the GHSA Second Round of the Playoffs in Week 15 of the High School Football Season

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon Touchdown Club Players of the Week for the GHSA Playoffs in the Second Round both came from the Northeast Raiders.

The Back of the Week went to Northeast Senior Runningback Nick Woodford. He rushed 16 attempts for 160 yards and two touchdowns in the Raiders 21-10 win over Lamar County.

The Lineman of the Week went to Northeast Junior Linebacker Tailen Sampson. He had 18 tackles on the night, including 15 solo tackles and three tackles for a loss, with a Quarterback pressure, in the Raiders advancing win.

Raiders finish their first 10-win season in program history, and this is the second time in four years that Northeast have advanced to the quarterfinals. If they were to win Friday, it would be the programs first trip to the GHSA Semifinals.
