MTA releases Thanksgiving schedule, closed for the holiday

MTA will close early on November 27, close on Thanksgiving Day, and resume normal hours on November 29.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon Transit Authority (MTA) has released the Thanksgiving schedule.

MTA will close early on November 27, close on Thanksgiving Day, and resume normal hours on November 29.

All fixed route buses and paratransit vans will finish by 4:30 p.m. on November 27.

MTA released the following schedule for Wednesday, November 27:

  • VINEVILLE —5:20 am – 4:10 pm
  • NORTH NAPIER / ZEBULON — 5:20 am – 4:10 pm
  • WEST BIBB — 5:20 am – 4:10 pm
  • SHURLING / WALMART —  Block 1: 5:20 am – 4:10 pm & Block 2: 5:40 am – 3:35 pm
  • RIVERSIDE / TOMHILL — 5:20 am – 4:10 pm
  • PIONONO / ROCKY CREEK — 5:20 am- 4:10 pm
  • EISENHOWER / WALMART — Block 1: 5:20 am – 4:30 pm & Block 2: 5:50 am – 3:30 pm
  • EAST BIBB — 5:20 am – 4:10 pm
  • HOUSTON — 5:20 am – 4:20 pm
  • LOG CABIN — 5:40 am – 3.35 pm
  • NORTH BIBB — 5:40 am – 3.35 pm
