PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Perry Panthers hosted the St. Pius X Golden Lions on Friday night in the first round of the GHSA playoffs.

The Panthers finished the regular season at 7-3 but won the region championship and were ranked #7 in AAAA.

The Golden Lions also finished the 2024 regular season at 7-3 and were the #4 seed in the playoffs.

This is the first-ever matchup between the two teams.
