Macon Urban Redevelopment Task Force Hears Concerns from East Macon Community

Tonight, East Macon residents are voicing their concerns about the state of their blighted community.

A public forum held by the Macon Urban Redevelopment Task Force,
gave these frustrated citizens the chance to talk about what they want to see change in their neighborhoods.

The task force is working to implement changes through the Urban Redevelopment Plan that was adopted by the city this past March.

Concerns about safety, code enforcement, and sewage and drainage problems, are on the minds of many residents.
