Woman Dead After Being Struck by Car

Macon Police say a woman is dead after being hit by a car.  The incident around 3am Monday at the intersection of Pio Nono Avenue and Houston Avenue.

Police say the 46 year old was hit by a Ford Ranger while crossing the street.

The accident remains under investigation.
