Telegraph Employee Helps Brother Steal from the Business

Two brothers are behind bars for trying to steal scrap metal.

For one of the brothers, the incident occurred at his workplace.
According to a news release it happened Monday afternoon at the Macon Telegraph.

Police say, 50 year old David lucas and his brother Bradley Lucas were caught loading the Telegraph’s flatbed truck and forklift to load scrap metal.

Both men were charged with criminal trespass, theft by taking auto, and felony theft by taking.

David Lucas has an extra charge of aggravated assault after he tried to run a witness over with one of the machines.
