11 Counties in Middle Georgia Could Vote on T-SPLOST

Tonight, Middle Georgians were invited to a public meeting in Perry to take a first look at the T-SPLOST. It’s a tax created by the Transportation Investment Act of 2010, that would add another penny to every dollar in 11 counties in Middle Georgia:

• Baldwin
• Bibb
• Crawford
• Houston
• Jones
• Monroe
• Peach
• Pulaski
• Putnam
• Twiggs
• Wilkinson

“If we don’t do something to help ourselves, it may be a long long time before any of these projects can get done from the federal and state level,” says Pulaski Commissioner Brooks Bailey.
