Noise Complaint Leads MPD to Copper Thieves
A noise complaint lead Macon Police to copper thieves. 43-year-old David Belleck and 23-year-old Gregory Thomas are charged with theft by taking felony, criminal damage and criminal trespass, among other charges.
Police responded to a vacant residence at at 1115 Scotland Avenue in reference to a noise complaint early Tuesday morning. Police found the suspects trying to flee with tools. In addition, they found a large amount of copper wiring, a hot water heater and a stolen circuit breaker box nearby.
