McDaniel Charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Child

The man accused of murdering Mercer Law graduate Lauren Giddings, now faces seven counts of sexual exploitation of a child.

25-year-old Stephen McDaniel is already in the Bibb County Jail on that Felony Murder charge, and for two burglary charges.

This afternoon, a news release from Macon Police spokeswoman, Jami Gaudet, said Police Chief Mike Burns and District Attorney Greg Winters released this information, but will not speak any further on the charges at this time.
