City Council Seats Open for Qualifying Throughout Houston County

If you want to see your name on the ballot for the upcoming elections, you’ve got this week to see it done.

Most Houston County open positions have already opened for qualifiers to begin the process of possibly becoming the next elected city council man or woman.

In Warner Robins, three positions are open for qualifiers-

Post 2(at large)- Currently held by Tom Simms, Jr.

District 4, Post 4- Currently held by Bob Wilbanks

District 6, Post 6- Currently held by John Williams

Qualifying runs 8:30a.m. until 4:30p.m. through Thursday, September 1st at Warner Robins City Hall.

In Perry, three positions are open for qualifiers-

District 1, Post 2- Currently held by Willie King

District 2, Post 2- Currently held by James Moore

District 3, Post 2- Currently held by Riley Hunt

Qualifying runs during normal business hours through Friday, September 2nd at the Board of Elections Office.

In Centerville, two postitions are open for qualifiers-

Post 3- Currently held by Edward Tucker

Post 4- Currently held by Robert Smith, Jr.

Qualifying begins Wednesday August 31st and runs through Friday, September 2nd at the city clerks office. Qualifying hours are 8:30a.m. until 4:30p.m. each day.
