Daybreak Segment: Tips for Fire Prevention Month

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – In 2019, local fire departments responded to an estimated 1.3 million fires, according to the National Fire Protection Association. October is fire prevention month. The goal is to help ensure your home and family has a plan and is ready for the unexpected.

Shaun Alston-Howard, from Country Financial Insurance, joined 41NBC at Daybreak Tuesday morning. She shared some tips so families do not become fire victims.
