Warner Robins training development and career center hosting grand opening for second location

The new center is located at 1103 Russell Parkway in Warner Robins.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — An organization in Warner Robins is hosting a grand opening Wednesday for its second training location.

Star Innovative Coaching is a training development and career center.

With its partner, the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency, they go into schools and train and education people with disabilities.

Once students finish training at their centers, Star Innovative Coaching helps them find a job.

CEO of the organization, Barbara Smith, says some of the areas students are trained in include work place readiness, how to dress on the job, and how to create a resume – all while getting hands on experience.

“So, we have a hotel room set up to provide hospitality training,” she said. “We have a kitchen set up to provide that food service training that we need in the hospitality industry. We also have a studio. We can also provide digital and media training. So we are planning to partner with the community to get those things accomplished.”

The new center is located at 1103 Russell Parkway in Warner Robins.

They assist students as young as 14.
