24 arrested during Operation Summer Heat
According to Sheriff David Davis, the two-day concentrated violent crime reduction operation yielded 120 citations issued.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – 24 people were arrested during Operation Summer Heat, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, alongside other agencies, made several arrests on September 19 and September 20.
According to Sheriff David Davis, the two-day concentrated violent crime reduction operation yielded 120 citations issued.
The arrests included 20 felony arrests and 4 misdemeanor arrests. During Operation Summer Heat, 15 warrants were served and 3 firearms were recovered.
Sheriff David Davis issued the following statement:
“As a community, we can be truly grateful for the work of the law enforcement partners engaged in this effort. “Operation Summer Heat” is responsible for bringing twenty wanted felons to justice. We continue to ask our citizens to let us know where unlawful acts happen so we can put the HEAT on criminal activity and continue to reduce the violence on our streets.”

- Denika Johnson (38-years-old) State Court Bench Warrant, Wanted in Jones County
- Derrick Allen (37-years-old) Possession of Marijuana
- Dorian Rumph (19-years-old) Wanted for Aggravated Assault, Reckless Conduct
- Garey Kinder (30-years-old) Superior Court Probation Violation
- Jahmarie Bonner (42-years-old) Possession of Marijuana with Intent, Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance with Intent
- Jahquan Eubanks (29-years-old) Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm During Commission of Felony, Probation Violation
- Kelsey Davis (22-years-old) Wanted in Turner County
- Jocquis Moody (29-years-old) Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Reckless Conduct, Probation Violation
