East Laurens shuts out Central 49-0 for first region win of the season

Former Chargers head coach and new East Laurens head coach Jesse Hicks took the Falcons (2-2) to Ed Defore to win their first region game of the year over Central (0-4) by a final score of 49-0.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The East Laurens Falcons (2-2), led by Head Coach Jesse Hicks, former Central Head Coach, shut out Central (0-4) 49-0 at Ed Defore Sports Complex Thursday night to pick up their first region win of the season.

East Laurens will face Dodge County (2-0) on September 20, while Central will battle Southwest (1-3) in two Region 2-A Division One matchups.
