MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon-Bibb Board of Elections is preparing for National Voter Registration Day.
The nonpartisan holiday is September 17 and aims to register voters in time ahead of the upcoming election.
Macon-Bibb Board of Elections Supervisor, Tom Gillon, says he wants to register as many voters as possible.
Gillon says the 2020 election brought in a major turnout and the Macon-Bibb Board of Elections is expecting the same turnout this year.
Early voting begins October 15.
