Monroe County Sheriff’s Office looking for part-time school crossing guard

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is looking for a part-time school crossing guard.

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is looking for a part-time school crossing guard.

The new hire would work under the MCSO’s Patrol Division.

Public Information Officer Anna Watkins says the crossing guard would work at an assigned school during morning and afternoon drop-off hours.

She says it’s a civilian position that pays $19.68 an hour.
