Local business prepares for Health Day, shares importance of natural remedies

CEO/Owner of GG's Favored Elegance, Shaunta Moore, says she began her health journey during the Covid-19 pandemic.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A local business is preparing for Health Day at the Houston County Galleria.

GG’s Favored Elegance is hosting Better Health Day and hopes to promote healthy remedies for daily needs. Health Day will be August 31 at 12 p.m.

CEO/Owner of GG’s Favored Elegance, Shaunta Moore, says she began her health journey during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Moore had diabetes and was taking insulin, but decided to try something and improve her health. Moore began using natural remedies and changing her lifestyle which has allowed her to be insulin free for 2 years.

“What we put in our bodies, it creates who we are,” says Moore. “Whether it’s food that we drink, food that we eat, or even things that we smell.”

Moore now focuses on showing others the importance of healthy and clean living through her new business GG’s Favored Elegance.
