Students move-in to Georgia College and State University
Fall classes begin on Monday.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Students moved-in to Georgia College & State University this week ahead of the Fall semester.
“It’s become a well oiled machine. We’ve got plenty of staff out here to help out. For the most part, the families just pull up, and get their cars unloaded,” said the Executive Director of University Housing of Georgia College & State University, Dr. Larry Christenson.
Thursday was the third and final group of students transitioning into what will be their new home for the next nine months.
Grace Sheehy and her family drove down to Milledgeville from Atlanta to get her settled in.
“It was a pretty easy drive to get here, and so far we haven’t had any problems moving in. So, it’s been smooth.” said Sheehy.
As Grace and her family set up her room, she said that’s not the only thing she’s excited about.
“I think just meeting new people and like going to class, I think is the most exciting part for me is,” said Sheehy.
