UPDATE: Woman found dead inside Forsyth home identified

According to the Forsyth Police Department, officers responded to 22 East Main Street just after 5 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a possible deceased person.

UPDATE: (7/31) –  A woman who was found dead inside a home in Forsyth on Tuesday has been identified.

Monroe County Coroner Joey Proctor identified the woman as Pam Terry. He says she had been there a few days before officers discovered her body.

The body has been sent to the GBI Crime Lab to determine an official cause of death.


FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) —The Forsyth Police Department says it’s investigating after a woman was found dead in a home on Tuesday.

According to the Forsyth Police Department, officers responded to 22 Brooklyn Avenue just after 5 p.m. in reference to a possible deceased person.

Officers say they located a body inside the home.
