Georgia Players Selected In 2024 Mlb Draft: Day Two

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – Two local baseball players are going pro after being selected on day two of the 2024 Major League Baseball draft.

Mercer University’s Left Handed Pitcher Bryant Olson was taken in the 13th round by the Washington Nationals with the 380th pick. Olson led the Southern Conference with eight saves and had 39 strikeouts in just 26.2 innings.

In the 16th round, Tattnall Sqaure Academy alum and Georgia Tech player Dawson Brown was picked by the Arizona Diamondbacks with the 494th pick overall.
