19-year-old drowns in Warner Robins swimming pool

The drowning occured in a swimming pool in the 100 block of Tranquill Pointe.

HOUSTON COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A teenager is dead after drowning in a swimming pool Sunday afternoon in Warner Robins, according to Houston County Coroner James Williams.

19-year-old Dezmine Lowery from Virginia was swimming in a pool in the 100 block of Tranquill Pointe.

Lowery was transported to Houston Healthcare in Warner Robins and pronounced deceased shortly after.

According to Williams, this is the second drowning death in Houston County this summer. Coroner Williams says 27-year-old Ariel Jones died from drowning in a swimming pool in the 2400 block of Elko Road in Elko on June 9.
