MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – After closing down operations, the Moonhanger Group is reopening its restaurants.
Owner Wes Griffith announced in a Facebook post that each restaurant the company owns will reopen. This includes Dovetail, H&H, Natalia’s, and the Rookery.
Griffith plans to reopen the four restaurants on Tuesday — more than two months after the company suspended operations on March 18.
Managers will make changes to follow health and safety standards. This includes rearranging dining rooms for social distancing, limiting the capacity and requiring employees to wear masks.
“We actually had the staff working for ten days before getting ready for all the extra precaution and we are doing several more precautions on top of what the state is requiring as well,” said Matthew Newton, general manager of The Rookery.
The Moonhanger Group will also enhance its curbside carryout service and launch online ordering.
