DPH tests over 100,000 people for COVID-19 in ten days

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Georgia Department of Public Health says it surpassed a goal of testing 100,000 individuals in 10 days.

Commissioner Kathleen E. Toomey, set the DPH goal last week and over the last week, DPH reports testing more than 108-thousand people.

DPH is also making COVID-19 testing available to *all* Georgians.

According to the North Central Health District, effective immediately, you can request a tested, whether you have symptoms or not.
