‘Know Your Rights’: A seminar to help parents navigate Bibb County Juvenile Justice System

Parents learn what to do if their child becomes involved with the Bibb County Juvenile Justice System.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  Parents with children in the criminal system, this upcoming seminar could give you some tools you can use to navigate the juvenile justice system to better help your child.

On Saturday, United Way of Central Georgia through its’ Community School’s United Initiative is hosting a seminar called, “Know Your Rights.”

Parents will learn about topics like: What to do if your child become involved with the juvenile justice, educational rights for youth who have been involved with the juvenile justice system and legitimation for Fathers.

The seminar is free to all attendees.

It’s from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
