Tropical Moisture for the weekend
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to you all! An area of low pressure developing off the eastern coast of Georgia will increase rain chances to finish the week. Aside from the likelihood of storms, highs will reach the mid-90s in the afternoons, with northeast winds at 6-12 mph, gusting over 17 mph. Humidity will also rise as the low-pressure system moves into extreme southern Georgia, bringing tropical moisture to the surrounding areas.
