Hot with a few strong to severe storms possible this afternoon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to you all! Hope you had a great weekend, and first part of your Monday! This morning we had a few severe storms around 4 am in Middle Georgia, however they have moved away from the area. This morning we are warm in the low to mid 70s. Today we could see a strong to severe storm mainly south of Macon. Temperatures will rise in to the upper 80s to low 90s. With that said heat index values will be in the 90s. Tomorrow we will be in the 90s, however there will not be as much humidity.
