Mercer’s Jackson Cherry Enters Transfer Portal

Mercer University Outfielder Jackson Cherry has announced he will enter the transfer portal after four seasons with the Bears

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – Mercer University Outfielder Jackson Cherry has announced he will be entering the transfer portal.  The Redshirt Junior hit a .290 batting average this past season with 18 home runs and 54 RBI’s to go along with 60 hits and 45 runs.

The 2023 All-SOCON second team player played in 54 games and started in 53, his most ever during his Bears career. He finishes with a batting average of .301, 34 home runs and 92 RBI’s.
