Memorial Day Weekend Forecast!
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to you all! I hope your Friday is off to a wonderful start. It’s a bit humid this morning, with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s, and even a few spots hitting the low 70s. As we move into the afternoon, we’re expecting temperatures to warm up into the 90s, so it’s going to be quite a warm day ahead. There’s a small chance for a shower or thunderstorm this afternoon, but nothing too significant to worry about. Looking ahead to the weekend, we’re in for some pretty hot weather with temperatures staying in the 90s. There will be some chances for afternoon showers and thunderstorms, but don’t let that dampen your Memorial Day weekend plans too much. If you’re planning on heading to the pool or firing up the grill for a Memorial Day cookout, the weather should cooperate for the most part. On Memorial Day, we’ll see temperatures in the 90s again with about a 40% chance of rain. Overall, it’s not too bad of a forecast for the weekend. Not everyone will see a shower or thunderstorm, and rain totals are expected to be low, under half an inch for Middle Georgia. So, get out there and enjoy the pleasant weather and all your weekend plans. Have a fantastic day and take care!
