Warm and partly cloudy for today
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to you all! I hope your Thursday is off to a good start. It’s a bit humid this morning, with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s, and even a few low 70s in some areas. This afternoon, we’ll warm up into the upper 80s to low 90s with partly cloudy skies. Tomorrow morning will kick off similarly with partly cloudy skies. Friday afternoon brings a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms, with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. This weekend, we’re looking at temperatures in the 90s, with some afternoon chances for showers and thunderstorms. Don’t worry, though; this shouldn’t impact your Memorial Day weekend plans too much. On Memorial Day, we’ll see temperatures in the 90s with a 50% chance of rain. Overall, the forecast isn’t too bad for the weekend. Not everyone will see a shower or thunderstorm, and rain totals are expected to be low, under half an inch for Middle Georgia. Enjoy the pleasant weather and your weekend plans. Have a great day and take care!
