Cochran Police Arrest Man for DUI, Possible Murder Charges to Follow

Thursday Cochran Police arrested 49-year-old James Tripp of Cochran for driving under the influence, taking the life of one person and seriously injuring another. Investigators say 22-year-old Tiffany Herman was killed, when Tripp rammed his truck into an SUV, also carrying his wife, 47-year-old Cindy Tripp. They say he drove away after hitting them, near Limestone Road.
Cindy Tripp is recovering at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
James Tripp will likely face murder charges, as well.
