Showers and thunderstorms expected for today! Weekend is the same

MACON, Georgia  (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to you all!! Happy Friday to you as well! This morning temperature are in the 60s with rain fall on it’s way! Today we will see showers and thunderstorms with temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s. The chance of showers and thunderstorms will remain on Saturday, with temperatures staying the same. We could see a thunderstorm with damaging winds on Saturday, though the severe threat is very low at this time. Sunday brings a chance for a few thunderstorms and showers as well, but this chance is not as significant. Temperatures on Sunday will be warmer than Saturday, reaching the mid to upper 80s. We will take a break from the rainfall for a few days, with temperatures warming up into the low 90s on Tuesday and Wednesday. Overall, an inch to two inches of rain is expected to fall in the next seven days.
