Sunny Thursday expected! Rain again Friday
MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to you all! This Thursday morning is off to a good start with temperatures in the low to mid-60s. Today we will see plenty of sunshine with temperatures breaking into the upper 80s. No rainfall is expected for today, so please go outside and enjoy the sunshine! As we head into Friday, rainfall will be on its way for the morning hours as well as the afternoon. Temperatures will reach the low 80s by Friday afternoon. The chance of showers and thunderstorms will remain on Saturday, with temperatures staying the same. We could see a thunderstorm with damaging winds on Saturday, though the severe threat is very low at this time. Sunday brings a chance for a few thunderstorms and showers as well, but this chance is not as significant. Temperatures on Sunday will be warmer than Saturday, reaching the mid to upper 80s. We will take a break from the rainfall for a few days, with temperatures warming up into the low 90s on Tuesday and Wednesday. Overall, an inch to two inches of rain is expected to fall in the next seven days. Have fun in the sunshine today!
