Fog in the area this morning, Stray storms this afternoon!

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning, everyone! Today’s weather is starting off with a few showers across Middle Georgia, so make sure to grab your rain gear as you head out. Additionally, visibility is a bit limited this morning, so take it slow on the roads. As we move into the afternoon, we can expect more showers and possibly a few thunderstorms. Some of these thunderstorms may be strong to severe, so stay weather-aware. Temperatures today will be in the low 80s, with some areas reaching the upper 70s. Moving into the evening, we’ll have another mild night. Tomorrow, temperatures will climb back into the mid-80s with mostly cloudy skies. The best day for outdoor plans this week looks to be Thursday, with temperatures in the 80s and plenty of sunshine. However, keep an eye out for rain and thunderstorms returning for the weekend, starting on Friday. Have a great day and stay dry out there!
