Rain is gone! Time for a beautiful Mother’s Day weekend!

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Today, a cold front will sweep through Georgia, ushering in gusty winds and drier conditions. Anticipate wind speeds ranging from 10 to 20 mph, with gusts peaking at 35 mph. Precipitation is expected to taper off by evening, paving the way for a clearer night. Come Saturday, Middle Georgia will experience cooler and drier air, setting the stage for a delightful Mother’s Day weekend with temperatures in the 70s and reduced humidity. While winds will persist, they will be milder compared to today, with gusts reaching up to 25 mph intermittently. Next week, rain will likely return to the region, so enjoy the dry weather while it lasts. Have a great weekend!
