Multiple waves of strong thunderstorms Thursday

UPDATE 5:50 PM- Tomorrow, there is a Threat for strong to severe storms, with a Level 3/5 risk for damaging winds, hail, and flooding. The timing is 8am to 4pm and then 3am to 8am. The main threat is strong damaging winds. Updates on air 41NBC.
Good morning! This morning, we are starting out with temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s. Today, expect plenty of sunshine with temperatures reaching the upper 90s to low 90s. It’s a good idea to get outdoor chores done early before the temperatures climb into the 90s. As we move into the overnight hours, temperatures will drop to the 70s. Tomorrow, there is a small threat for a strong to severe storm, with a Level 2/5 risk for damaging winds, hail, and flooding. The timing for this is expected to be from 2pm to 7pm, so stay weather aware during that time. Temperatures for Thursday will be in the mid 80s. On Friday, another threat for severe storms is anticipated, although the risk level is lower than Thursday. Temperatures will remain in the 80s. Looking ahead to Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday will be sunny with temperatures in the upper 70s, while Sunday will be nice in the low 80s with mostly sunny skies. Next week, more rain is in the forecast, with overall 1-2 inches expected over the next few days. Have a great day, Middle Georgia!
