MIDDLE GEORGIA – (41NBC/WMGT) – In GHSA Elite Eight playoff baseball, five teams from middle Georgia battled for a chance at their respective Final Fours.

In Class A D-I, Crawford County got the win at home in game three over The Weber School 4-3, after splitting their first two games with the Rams on Saturday (6-0, 15-0) to advance to their first ever GHSA Final Four in program history!  The incredible part is that the Eagles were able to do accomplish this feat with only TEN PLAYERS! Crawford County will advance to face Prince Ave Christian on Friday, May 10th.

In Class A D-II, Wilcox County is eliminated after they lost to Bowdon (5-2, 1-0) on Saturday.

In Class AA, Toombs County is eliminated after they lost to Rockmart (9-1, 8-0) on Saturday.

In Class AAA, Mary Persons will advance to the Final Four after sweeping Wesleyan (3-2, 14-7) on Saturday. They will head to Calvary Day Friday, May 10th.

In Class AAAA, Perry is eliminated after they lost to North Oconee (10-1, 8-1) on Monday.

In Class AAAAAA, Houston County will advance to their THIRD FINAL FOUR in FOUR YEARS after the Bears swept Lassiter (3-1, 8-1) on Monday.  They will face Pope on the road Saturday, May 11th.
