GBI: Arrest made in Dodge County shooting

EASTMAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is helping Eastman Police with a shooting investigation that sent one man to the hospital and another to jail.

Police responded to a person shot on Eastman Street around 3:00pm Monday. According to a GBI news release, police found 47-year-old Terry Faulk shot multiple times. He was transported to the Dodge County Hospital and later airlifted to Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon.

According to the GBI, an investigation determined Monday’s shooting took place on Page Street in Eastman during an argument between Faulk and 61-year-old Roger Burnham.

The GBI reports Faulk’s vehicle hit Burnham’s vehicle during the argument, and that’s when agents say Burnham shot Faulk multiple times. Faulk left the scene and traveled to his home on Eastman Street. There was a passenger in Faulk’s vehicle, but that person was not injured.

Burnham is being held at the Dodge County Law Enforcement Center on two counts of aggravated assault.

Faulk was treated and released from the hospital.
