Two Men and a Truck host annual Movers for Moms event
The collected donations are for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Two Men and a Truck will be hosting the annual Movers for Moms event, benefiting moms at the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia.
The event is officially underway and donations will be collected until Mother’s Day, then distributed after.
The collected donations are for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse.
Johnathan Cuttino, franchise owner of Two Men and a Truck in Macon, says there goal this year is to collect 2,000 items to donate.
Cuttino says the main items needed are feminine products, dish sponges, trash cans and cleaning supplies. Toiletries, lightly used or new clothing, and furniture are also accepted.
Donations can be dropped off at 1057 Parkway Suite A in Macon.
