Spotty rain for the morning, Windy this afternoon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – This morning, we’re experiencing mild temperatures in the mid to upper 60s, along with showers and thunderstorms across the area. A wind advisory is currently in effect for Middle Georgia until 8 p.m. tonight, indicating gusts as high as 40 mph in the afternoon. As we move into the afternoon, the rain will gradually move out of the area by late morning, leaving behind temperatures in the 70s and breezy conditions. Overnight, expect much cooler temperatures in the low 50s, with sunshine returning tomorrow afternoon and highs in the low 70s. Looking ahead to the weekend, it’s shaping up to be beautiful as high pressure becomes the dominant feature. Temperatures are expected to climb into the mid 80s on Sunday and remain at that level through next week. However, next week may not be as sunny as this weekend. Wishing you a great day ahead and a fantastic weekend!
