HIGHLIGHTS: Bleckley County swept East Laurens in a GHSA 1A D-1 Region Doubleheader

The Royals beat the Falcons in game one 10-0 and in game two 14-4 in a home sweep

COCHRAN, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – The Blackley County Royals (13-6) swept the East Laurens Falcons (3-18) at home Thursday as part of a GHSA 1A D-1 three game series this week.

Game One of the doubleheader saw the Royals beat the Falcons 10-0, while Game Two had a similar result, with Bleckley County securing the win 14-4.

The first game of this three game series Tuesday in East Laurens saw the Royals go home happy with a 23-3 win.

Bleckley County will prepare for their three game series starting Tuesday in Dublin, while East Laurens will face Vidalia Heritage on Monday.
