Macon Police Rule Body Found Homicide

A body found this morning at 1058 Georgia Avenue has been ruled a homicide.

That’s the same address where missing Mercer Law School graduate 27 year old Lauren Giddings lives.·

MPD’s investigative team and Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones are still working to identify the body, but Leon has confirmed that the body is a female.

·The Bibb County District Attorney’s Office, FBI, and a team of K9’s also joined the investigation.
