17-year-old recovering after shooting on Richardson Mill Road

The Sheriff's Office is working to determine what lead up to the shooting.

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A teenager is recovering after a shooting on Richardson Mill Road.

According to Sheriff Lewis Walker, the shooting happened March 24 at a home in the 2800 block of Richardson Mill Road. A family member took the 17-year-old boy to the hospital.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office received a call from Atrium Navicent Police at around 10:50 p.m. letting them know the teen was shot.

Sheriff Lewis Walker says the teenager was in stable condition at the time.

The Sheriff’s Office is working to determine what lead up to the shooting.
