Macon Police Have 2 Persons of Interest in Body Found Homicide

The street shut down when Macon Police found a female’s body at an apartment complex at 1058 Georgia Avenue, around 10 am. The case was ruled a murder and now Macon Police continue to follow leads by canvassing the area for clues and talking with people near the scene. Police are questioning two persons of interest in the case.

“Have they seen her or have they heard anything unusual the last couple of days? Are there any strangers in the neighborhood or cars that just don’t belong? Well we’ve got a couple of people that we’re interviewing and we’re going to see how that turns out,” said Macon Police Chief Mike Burns.
