The Methodist Children’s Home provides housing and care to children across Georgia who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned. When children arrive at the home, they are allowed to select a quilt from the quilt closet.
“These quilts that you’ve seen this morning are just a part of the quilts that we donate to the Methodist home,” said Sally Hemingway, President of the Heart of Georgia Quilt Guild.
In addition to supporting a worthy cause, the show is a must-see event for any quilt lover. Visitors will be able to view a stunning collection of quilts, including traditional and contemporary designs, and participate in a raffle and silent auction.
The event will take place on April 5 and 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both days. Admission is $7 per person.
