Bleckley County caps off 8-2 win over West Laurens with Home Run

The Royals took down the Raiders in Cochran 8-2

COCHRAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bleckley County Royals (8-5) beat the West Laurens Raiders (7-6) by a score of 8-2.

After the Royals scored two runs in the bottom of the first off two past balls, the Raiders were able to tie things up at two a piece in the top of the second.

However, in the bottom of the second, Bleckley County took over and scored five straight runs, three off of ball-four walks with loaded bases.

To cap things off, the Royals hit a home run in the bottom of the fifth to seal the 8-2 victory.

Both teams meet again in Dexter on Monday.
