UPDATE: Warner Robins man arrested for murder of Macon woman in March
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators charged 30-year-old Tyrell Shernard Burks

UPDATE (5/2/24): A Warner Robins man is now behind bars in connection with the death of a Macon woman earlier this year.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators charged 30-year-old Tyrell Shernard Burks with murder and six counts of aggravated assault for the shooting death of 28-year-old Shantoria Hines on March 17.
Burks is currently being held without bond.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says a woman died after a shooting early Sunday morning in Macon.
A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release says deputies responded to a call at 12:11 a.m. about two females being shot in the 800 block of Maynard street.
Deputies arrived on scene and were told that there was an argument that resulted in the shooting. Both women were transported to the hospital by private vehicle.
Investigators were told 28-year-old Shantoria Hines had died from her injury.
26-six-year-old Kreo Montgomery is currently listed in stable condition.
The case is currently under investigation.
